CODECA is a non-profitable organisation established and operating in Cyprus since 2016. CODECA is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized services through a collaborative and efficient operational model aimed at fostering lifelong learning, research, and innovation. Our core values include a commitment to excellence, collaboration, equality, social justice, and safeguarding.
Since 2018, CODECA has been operating within the Reception and Accommodation Centres across Cyprus. Since 2019, we have expanded our services to include shelters for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, migrant families, and other vulnerable and marginalized groups within the local community, such as families and single mothers with children. Among other issues, mental health dysfunctionalities have been met and managed according to a specific organisational protocol and interventions.
To ensure the effective functioning of these facilities, we have implemented a series of internal policies and procedures. These encompass comprehensive staff training, the adoption of methodological tools like the CAF and ACT intervention models, mental health crisis management and the development of administrative policies covering areas such as ethics, child protection, gender equality, diversity, recruitment, succession planning, staff capacity development, and annual assessments.
Throughout our journey, CODECA has cultivated meaningful collaborations with public organizations, local authorities, voluntary groups, and private entities at the local, national, and European levels. We view these partnerships as integral to fulfilling our mission of delivering high-quality services to those we serve.
