OPUS Centre has existed for 25 years now. We are an adult education provider that mostly supports adults who are or want to become active members of our society – within NGOs, informal groups or social enterprises. Therefore, we support them in many different ways: from key competences and soft skills to hard skills like accountancy or law issues. We act as a social economy support centre in our region being often the first contact point for local social economy enterprises. We cooperate with local governments and institutions. Many of us are trainers or animators. We also work closer to the regular citizens providing support for people from vulnerable areas to become more active members of the society.
