ABARKA ONGD is a Spanish non-profit organization based in the Basque Country, dedicated to promoting social inclusion, critical thinking and cultural intelligence through non-formal education, international cooperation, volunteering and respect for diversity. Since its establishment in 2015, ABARKA has impacted over 30,000 vulnerable individuals and trained 2,000 young people. With a strong focus on communities facing cultural, economic, and social challenges, ABARKA collaborates on international and local projects in areas such as development cooperation, humanitarian action, and sustainability.
Guided by values of equality, transparency, and sustainability, ABARKA actively engages in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects to bring a solution to social challenges. Its initiatives empower youth and adults to develop critical thinking and social skills through non-formal education, fostering inclusive societies where everyone can thrive.
