The Institute of Psychosocial Development, with the distinctive title “Ι.Ψ.Α”, was founded in 2001 as a “Non-Profit Civil Society Organization” by a group of mental health professionals, with its headquarters in Larissa.
Since early 2005, according to Ministerial Decision Π2γ/134675/04, the Institute has been registered as an entity in the National & Regional Registry of Social Care Organizations of the Private Sector, Non-Profit Character, and in the Special Registry of Voluntary Non-Governmental Organizations. In 2021 Institute founded a legal branch in Athens.
The Director and legal representative of the Institute is Athena Marouda – Chatzouli, Ph.D., Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Group Analyst, Member, Trainer, Analyst & Supervisor of the Hellenic Society of Analytical Group and Family Psychotherapy.
The Scientific Coordinator of the Institute is Celia Batrakouli, MSc, Psychologist – Psychotherapist for Adults, Couples, and Families.

The promotion of the psychosocial development of the individual through a wide range of therapeutic, counseling, and support services.
